This summer, VoteRunLead is teaming up with the Women’s Fund of Rhode Island to bring you the resources you need to learn how to run for office. These two groups are coming together to give you the skills and confidence you need to step into the political atmosphere and make a difference. VRL’s “Run As You Are” campaign will kick off the launch of the Women’s Fund of Rhode Island’s new training series, “Through a Gender Lens,” filling the event with tons of helpful information on how YOU can run using everything you already have, as well as how to address the issues of gender equity that will arise during your candidacy. Regardless of what political party you affiliate with, WFRI knows that when 30% or more of our leaders are female, positive change happens for women and families.  Join the thousands of women who are taking the Run As You Are Challenge, or learn how you can better support other women who are running.

Running from 9am-2:30pm, the event will include:

*Facilitated networking over a light breakfast

*Training sessions hosted by VoteRunLead Founder Erin Vilardi and Women’s Fund of Rhode Island’s Executive Director, Kelly Nevins

*An interactive conversation with State Senator Gayle Golden, Providence City Councillor Sabina Matos, Karina Holyoak Wood, and East Greenwich Town Councillor Sue Cienki

*A campaigning workshop with Juanita Lewis, VoteRunLead National Trainer
Thanks to the generosity of donors, there is no cost to participate in the workshop–just register here!
