It is time to celebrate and usher in a new era in American politics. On Thursday, September 20, 2018 in San Francisco, the inaugural She the People Summit—an unprecedented national gathering of women of color transforming U.S. politics—will mark this moment in history of our rise. Founded and led by Aimee Allison, president of Democracy in Color and host of the “Democracy in Color” podcast, the summit will convene leading change makers in national progressive politics. We are coming together to strengthen our collective bonds, to organize our common efforts, and to realize the political power of women of color in 2018, 2020, and beyond. VoteRunLead is a proud sponsor.

She the People kicks off a national conversation with the She the People Summit on September 20, 2018. We are committed to strong representation from our under-25, low-income, immigrant, LGBTQ, and Muslim communities on stage and in the audience. She the People brings together partner organizations that are led by or center women and girls of color.
