Wisconsin Plate to Politics

VRL partners with Women Food and Agriculture Network for a series of day-long trainings for women farmers and leaders who are passionate about healthy food and farming. The trainings will be held from 9:00-2:30/3:00 in March and April. The cost to attend is $20 with limited scholarships for registration and travel available. Individual workshop details and registration pages are available here. These one day trainings will support and inspire Iowa women in agriculture, natural resources and food systems who want to play a critical role in transforming our nation’s food system. This is a great opportunity for women who are running or planning to run for office to network and be inspired. Women who want to ramp up their advocacy and systems change leadership in healthy food and farming or with an interest to help other women run for office are also encouraged to attend.
